We went there at 5 PM and there was already a line to get in. It is cafeteria style, where you order, they make it for you right then and then you take it to the table. They play kind of old rock ‘n’ roll music in there, which my wife wasn’t too happy about. But I liked it. Everything is served directly on the tray with plastic utensils and paper cups. We were excited to get the brisket because we had heard how moist it was, but it was not that moist. Another issue I had was that everything just came warm, not hot. The tri-tip on the other hand was very delightful. My wife got the 41 Baker, which is a huge sweet potato covered in cheese and butter and meat, and it was very good. The sides were also awesome. I had the jalapeño macaroni and cheese with bacon and the potato casserole. I would recommend them all. All in all it was a good place to go.

Service is excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Communicated with us throughout our brief wait and checked in while we were eating to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend the Dirty Frites with Brisket for the table. Follow that with a 2 or 3 meat combo to split (husband and I went with brisket and tri tip). Tried all sides: Broccoli salad and twice baked potato casserole were our favs. Ribs were also amazing. Could use a bit more seating area, though we were able to grab two tables for our group. Small town gem. Looking forward to coming again on our next visit.

Visited Smokehouse 41 Barbecue almost right before closing time, and honestly the food surprised me in a very good way. The meat was cooked really well — tender, flavorful, with a great marinade and proper BBQ taste. The mac and cheese was excellent, and the fries were also very good. You can tell the food is made with care. The restaurant itself is not very big, but it has a really cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. The location and the exterior design are also very nice and create a great first impression. Everything we tried was delicious. I honestly don’t even remember all the names of the dishes because we came in late and were just enjoying the food, but this place definitely deserves 5 stars from me. I’m planning to come back again and try more items from the menu.

Some of the most succulent ribs we've ever had in our lives. They were so tender they practically fell apart just by looking at them. We came back for dinner two nights in a row because everything was so good (specially the BBQ beans). We also tried to get some treats from The 41 Baker, but unfortunately we weren't lucky—they had already sold out. You may have to wait in line for a while to place your order, and it's best to arrive early if you want to eat there (their dinner hours aren't exactly ideal for Spaniards). If you're staying in Oakhurst, this is without a doubt the best restaurant in town!

Tbh I got on here to write a 4 star review because the seating was limited and we weren’t able to brave the line on Wednesday night and came back Thursday. BUT I can’t. Simply put this is the best food in town and possibly the best BBQ in the region. Ribs were 11/10 and all the fixins were top notch. The beans and bacon were my fav and the jalapeño Mac n cheese were tasty. But thr pickles…..who puts that much care into pickles?!? Dang they are good. Worth the wait. Worth standing to eat if you have to. Eat here.

This place is like a tradition every time we go to Yosemite. Our exact order was: The 3 meat plate: Brisket- Tri Tip- Pork Bbq beans Coleslaw We also add on the side: Mac and cheese, Baked potatoe casserolette, 4 onz of sausage. I would say this feeds 2 people, if both very hungry. All sides are delicious, the sausage was spectacular, pork and Tri Tip very tender. Brisket was good, not the best but good!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid BBQ stop in Oakhurst. We ordered the 2 Meat Combo with brisket and tri-tip, half rack of ribs, and a pork casserole, all washed down with two craft beers. The brisket was excellent, tender and full of flavor, and the ribs were equally impressive. Everything came out well seasoned and clearly smoked with care. Fair warning: the portions are generous, so come hungry or be ready to take something home. A great find near Yosemite.

Wow, what a nice surprise. Really yummy BBQ. We shared the 3 meat plate. The brisket and pulled pork were outstanding! The sides were also excellent! Had a nice IPA with it, wonderful! Thanks for the great food!
